Fifth Ave Floral Reinker Watercolor Technique

Here's a card made with the reinker watercolor technique. We will be making a card similar to this at the next Technique Class. I used the lily from the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set, shimmery white cardstock, and white embossing powder.

Wet the flowers liberally with your Aqua Painter and then add drops of ink and let it spread. Let dry naturally or heat gun.

Garden Greetings with Beautiful Butterflies Die Cut

Here is a card we made at my Stamp A Stack last week. The base is Cameo Coral, and we used the Walk in the Park Designer paper for the Butterflies. The stamped strip used the Garden Greetings stamp set. Oval All and the Scallop punch was used for the greeting. A gray taffeta ribbon finished it off.

Lots of Snow

Still too much snow to drive up to the cabin! Hopefully it's melting this week, as we are going for part of the weekend. This is our nephew, Scott, who recently moved here. He has no idea how much wood he will be cutting this spring!

It's snowing at the cabin finally!

There won't be much stamping at the cabin for awhile. Reports of snow in the Gilpin County area range up to 52" of snow and it's still coming down. We got at least a foot of snow in Broomfield, and it's heavy and wet. The snow is much needed as it's been an extremely dry winter. Wish it didn't come all at once, though.
