At the Stampin' Up! convention

Here's the famous Mormon Tabernacle choir rehearsing in the conference center. We arrived to Salt Lake early to catch some of the sights. We had a tour of the Tabernacle and the Conference Center. This hall seats 21,000. I participated in a shoe box swap, and spent lots of money at the memento hall. The new catalog is fabulous!!! Come to my open house on August 14th and get your copy.

Lace House in Black Hawk Moved

Here's a picture of the historic Lace House. It was moved last week, with a cost of over a million, to it's new home in Mountain City, in between Black Hawk and Central City.

SUDSOL Swap

Images Copyright Stampin' Up!

Here's a preview of my SUDSOL swap for convention. I used the same set as the sample from the 16th, Pick a Petal.

Technique Class Sample

Here's a sample of a card we will make at the Technique Class this Thursday, the 24th. I used the retiring set Happy Camper and the retiring In Colors, Bayou Blue and Wild Wasabi. I will really miss these colors, but new ones are right around the corner. Email me by the 23rd to get into the Technique Class. It's a pop up card in the middle, with a punch bear inside.

Monthly Technique Class

Images Copyright SU 1990-2008

I hold a monthly Technique Class that is open to anyone on the 4th Thursday of every month. You learn at least 3 new techniques and make 3 projects, usually cards. Here's the card we made in June using Heat & Stick powder to adhere glitter to his nose. We used the Pick a Petal and Smarty Pants Stampin' Up! stamps sets. There is no charge for the class, but a $15.00 catalog purchase is required. The order is added to the Technique Club hostesses total for her hostess benefits.

All Denver Metro Stampers, let me know if you are interested in attending or joining a Hostess Club! AnnStamps@att.net

Getting my blog started at the cabin

Hi Stampers,

Finally started my blog! My high speed internet is installed at the cabin so I'm in business now! I'll get some pictures and samples on soon. I'm busy working on my swaps for convention and special ones for my SUDSOL group.

I'll be having some stamping events here in Gilpin County Colorado soon. Watch the Mountain Man Auto Car Wash building for completion! Pat is adding a room perfect for stamping parties!

Happy Stamping,

Ann
